1st Time on the Treadmill

I hit the gym at 7:00. First thing I did, since no one was in the locker room, was to jump on the scale. I was very surprised! It read 154. I can't remember being this low in the past 8 years! I think I've lost all of the weight I put on from DepoProvera!

One of the instructors showed me how to turn on the treadmill and adjust the speed. I stayed on it for exactly one hour and walked 2.78 miles. Towards the last 10 minutes, I played with the incline, and that helped work my thighs more. I could really feel it. I was only comfortable with an incline of 5%. And the top speed that I did was 3.2 - but I think I liked it better at 3. I gradually increased the speed, starting at 1.0 - which is turtle walk.

My legs were complete rubber when I finished! Almost like sea legs, but from walking!
