BodyCombat #2

BodyCombat was much "easier" the second time around. Sure, it was still hard, but I understood the moves more. I'm still having a hard time shuffling to the left (my feet get clumsy) but shuffling to the right is much easier. I still can't do the scissoring action, but I found out from another girl in class that you can just do little jumps in place instead of the scissoring. I guess the point is to stay moving, to keep that heartrate up, that matters.

There was this really cool part towards the end that was set to a synthesized Beethovan song. It was a series of uppercuts and then when the song hits those high notes, you raise your arms up and pretend that your punching one of those little bags. Basically just circling your fists. But I absolutely couldn't do the dropkick. Forget that! That's much too advanced for me! It's only my 2nd damn class!

And, of course, I crashed when I got home. Chris & I took an hour nap together. Afterwards, I felt more energized, which is a definite plus!
