Chris an EMT?
Chris came home from work last night, and said that he was interested in being an EMT. He's really enjoyed being the escort for VNA, and he's been learning a lot. He thinks it's something that he could definitely handle - blood & guts, ew!
So we checked out the Mount's website to see if they offered EMT training, and they do. It only takes about 1 semester to do, 14 weeks, and it's at night. M, W & F, 6-10 pm. But it's pricey. I think we calculated $13,000. But Chris should be eligible for lots of financial aid. He's really got to look into that part!
I also checked with an EMT who works here to see if being Type 1 would disqualify you, and he said no. More great news!
