Magic Bean's Pin

I received a very lovely gift for Valentine's Day in the mail last night. Mrs. Bean send me a pin that she made, with Beta Babes written over the top on the cardboard backing. The pin is of two girls, holding hands - reminiscent of those best-friends pins. And there's a cute dangle from the bottom - blue and pearl colored beads. It's very pretty! She's so sweet.

She said there's a birthday present on the way, too. I'm so excited!

I also got her "package" all set to be sent out today. Chris will take care of that. I hope she likes the hypnosis cd - and that it helps her. I don't know what's going on with it, personally, of if it's just me. I tried it again last night and I fell asleep, again. Right after the whole body relaxation part, I doze off. Completely unintentional, though. Maybe I'm getting too relaxed? This is the second time it's happened, and only the third time I've listened to it. When she gets to the part of counting down ... to get you to that "modified state of consciousness", I'm gone. And I don't even know it. Luckily, Chris woke me up about an hour or so later, and it was already 12:30! I hadn't taken my shower yet, and I was so damn groggy! But I got up. It was weird when he woke me up, though. I was startled, and disoriented in a way. I wonder if hypnosis works even when you're sleeping - subconsciously?

I'll try it again after work, and not wait until it's close to bedtime!
