Mom Update

Mom said that she's very sore and that she's on vicodin, so she's still pretty much out of it. She's not ready for company (I was supposed to visit tonight).

The surgery was successful, as far as the actual surgery goes. But now it's up to her bones to do the rest. They grafted bones together in her ankle and they're being held together by screws. The bones have to fuse themselves over the screws properly.

She'll call me when she's ready for a visit, and if she needs anything. I offered to shop for her or drive her to visit Nana & Grampy. She can't drive for quite awhile!
