A Ribbon
(I'm a receptionist, so I see A LOT of people)
I just had an employee come in through my lobby. She was wearing a ribbon pin on her coat, and it looked like it was encrusted with diamonds. I said, "that pin is very beautiful, would that happen to be an MS pin?" and she said she didn't know. It's just a ribbon pin for nothing in particular. Her mother had picked it up at a jewelry show.
The ribbon was silver and had a bunch of clear embedded crystals. So it caught the light and looked like our prism effect ribbon! I told her that there is an MS Awareness ribbon that is made with a prism look to show the unpredictable, changing ways of MS. (But I didn't say I had MS, and she'd didn't ask, TG!)
So I was thinking that this is a wonderful idea to incorporate into our ribbon. Very decorative, instead of the plastic ribbon pin that NMSS has. I'll have to be on the look out for this same ribbon!
