Worked a "Double"

Easiest money I've ever made! The day didn't drag by, it just went. Not very fast, but not very slow either. Chris took my car to fix it. He thought it was a donut seal that was making my exhaust really loud, but it turned out to be a cracked catalytic converter. So he brought it up to Toy Town and put a new one on the car. So it's QUIET! But he didn't have time to fix the wheel cylinder ... he had car issues of his own on Saturday.

Chris went out to his car in the morning, only to discover that his rear window was broken out. He doesn't know if it was malicious or just an accident, but it was smashed. Nothing was missing from his car, though. Toy Town didn't have a replacement window, but they did have a whole hatch he could have!

On the second half of my double, I got to work with Patrick. He's having a hard time and he's getting very depressed. He has 3 tumors on his liver and they want him to try experimenting with different types of chemo before trying surgery. But they told him he is a candidate for surgery, so that's really good. The hardest part of all of this is that it's a gamble with everything. There's no protocol of what to do, and it's basically left up to the patient. Patrick would rather have a doctor tell him - this is what to do - and he'll do it.
