Call from CVS
I got a call from CVS today, because I have an order in for Betaseron. This is the first box that I'm ordering with my new health insurance. They wanted to know if I HAD health insurance, because it was going to cost $1391 if I didn't. So the price has gone up! The last I knew, it was $1280. Why the hike? And when was the hike?
I told them that I do have insurance, and they said they'd get the info from me when I pick it up. I should have asked if they ordered it, or waiting until they found out how I was going to pay for it. My CVS doesn't keep it in stock. They get it from their warehouse in Worcester. So they always tell me it'll be a 3 - 5 day wait. I have 4 shots left, including tonight's.
